Who is The Founder of Berks County Living?

I need to set the record straight. My recent comments in Berks County Living clearly lead people to believe that I was the founder and owner which is simply not true, and for that I am deeply sorry.

About 7 weeks ago I was interviewed for an article in the June issue of Berks County Living. One of the questions I was asked “what is the professional accomplishment of which you are most proud?” My answer was my role as founding publisher of Berks County Living, specifically that the original vision and mission of the magazine has remained the same. The Title of the article recognizes me as the founder of the publication but that takes away from the true Founder.

Jim Adams, President of Westlawn Graphic is The Founder and original owner of the magazine. I was the publisher overseeing the staff and production of the magazine. I did not put up the money or take any business risk. My statements in the article clearly lead people to believe that I was founder and owner and that is simply not true.

Jim Adams is a dear friend and mentor. Over the 11 years at Westlawn Graphic, I learned more about business and management from Jim Adams then anyone before or since. I learned to trust and respect him and still do today. I know that he and his family are hurt by my comments in this article and for that I am sorry. I never meant to take credit for the founding, owning or funding Berks County Living. My role was clear and that was as the publisher in charge of the day-to-day operations of the magazine.
